Emirates has opened a £10 million lounge in Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport, the Dubai airline announced on September 24. It is the first UK location to use the carrier’s latest lounge concept and includes more than 50 design enhancements.
The lounge has dedicated areas for dining, work and rest, along with wireless charging, shower suites, a quiet zone and prayer rooms. Emirates says it is the only airline at Manchester Airport offering direct boarding from its lounge to the aircraft.
Access begins up to four hours before departure for eligible First Class and Business Class customers and Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members, including eligible travellers in Premium Economy and Economy. Other Emirates passengers can buy access on arrival. The airline currently operates three daily services between Manchester and Dubai.
