Qazaq AI Research University officially opened in Astana on 2 October, according to Kazakhstan's official higher-education notice. The university began its first academic year on 1 September and reports 528 learners: 391 bachelor's students, 32 master's students and 105 participants in its AI+X MBA programme. Its bachelor's programmes cover Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Physical AI, while the campus is designed for more than 3,500 learners. An official technology notice describes QAIRU as Central Asia's first AI-enabled university.
