Abu Dhabi-headquartered healthcare company M42 announced on September 22 that its Diaverum business had held an official inauguration for its first clinic in Kyrgyzstan. The new site is in the capital, Bishkek, and extends the company’s renal-care network into another Central Asian country.
M42 says the clinic is due to begin operations with 15 dialysis stations across three shifts from Monday to Saturday, with room to expand to 20 stations. Its announcement does not give a date for the first patient or say that treatment has already begun.
The move follows ten years of Diaverum operations in neighbouring Kazakhstan. M42 says its network there now has more than 55 clinics. Those existing Kazakhstan facilities are separate from the newly inaugurated Bishkek site.
